Adventurous Cozumel Xrail Buggy Overview

On this incredible off-road adventure, you will drive one of our dynamic Xrail buggies along coastal roads and back country trails to discover amazing natural, cultural, archaeological, and historical attractions on the island paradise of Cozumel. You will really love driving one of our late-model X2 Prowlers. These American-built all-terrain buggies are built for the rigors of off-road driving. They are constructed with dual A-arm front suspension, rear trail arm suspension, Fox-brand race-style shocks, comfortable suspension seats with racing harnesses, and an impressive 724-cc Vee-twin Kohler-brand engine.

Our knowledgeable English-fluent outdoor guides will lead you on a journey along the panoramic coastline to the Punta Sur Reserve where you can see vibrant lagoons, pristine beaches, and plentiful wildlife. Climb to the top of the Celerain Lighthouse for an incredible panoramic view of Punta Sur and the southern tip of Cozumel as it extends out into the Caribbean Sea. You can learn all about the nautical history of this region in the museum next to the lighthouse. You will also have a chance to explore the ancient Mayan ruins of El Caracol. Cozumel was once an important ceremonial destination for Mayans from the Yucatan mainland. From Punta Sur, the adventure continues to the traditional Mayan hamlet of El Cedral. You’ll be thrilled to maneuver along the inland trails as you travel to ancient caves and archaeological sites and learn all about the fascinating culture of the ancient Mayan people.

You will then head to the coast to the lovely beach of Playa Uvas where you can do some snorkeling at one of the most active shallow coral reef sites in the region.
