Aquaworld Cancun e-Learning Open Water Certification Overview

Cut down on your time in the classroom and spend more time exploring the gorgeous waters near Cancun, Mexico, while taking the PADI e-Learning Open Water Diver Certification Course. PADI certification, respected by divers all over the world, allows you to explore a huge variety of undersea locales and lasts a lifetime. The e-Learning course provides an advantage over traditional methods in that it allows you to master the theory behind scuba diving and the basic terms and concepts at your own pace. More importantly, however, it allows you to begin diving as soon as you hit the white, sandy beaches of Cancun.

Since you will already have the basic concepts down, you will start your lessons directly in an indoor pool where you will get familiar with the use of the diving gear and practice safety techniques in a controlled environment. Then, on the first day, you will spend the afternoon diving in the open water. On the second day, you will spend more time practicing in the pool and then head out for another afternoon of diving. For the second set of dives, you can journey over to the spectacular Island of Cozumel, although this will extend your course onto a third day. If you choose to dive off Cozumel, all transportation and ferrying will be provided, as will lunch at the La Mision restaurant.

Cancun and Cozumel are among the world's most popular diving destinations for good reason. The Caribbean Sea is famous for its transparent waters which allow you to see at an amazing range and the reefs here are among the oldest and biggest known to man, surpassed only by the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. While diving, you will be able to see such fantastic marine life as dolphins, jacks, stingrays, coral, anemones, eels, octopus, turtles and sharks.
