ATV Jungle and Snorkel Combo Overview

We've combined two great tours in one thrilling adventure on the Island of Cozumel. First you will enjoy a high octane off road trail ride through the back country of Cozumel while driving an ATV, then you will be able to discover the awe-inspiring underwater environs off the coast while snorkeling.

Our bilingual adventure guides will first lead you into the wild interior of the isle to discover the ancient Mayan town of El Cedral. You will be challenged by some thrilling rough and rugged trails along the way. All of our ATVs, or all-terrain vehicles, are 250-cc semi-automatic Honda recon four-wheelers. This expedition is not only for gear-heads; you will appreciate the natural beauty and rich cultural history of this area. You will step back in time while visiting some ancient Mayan ruins. The island was once a ceremonial destination for women all over the ancient Mayan Empire. Women from across the Yucatan Peninsula once made pilgrimages to Cozumel to pay tribute to the fertility goddess, Ixchel. You will also have the chance to see a cenote; these flooded caverns once were central to ancient ceremonial rites in this area of the world.

After your ATV expedition, you will be transported to the beach at Playa Uvas, where you can enjoy some incredible snorkeling at a bustling coral reef. The phenomenal clarity of the waters at this locale will allow you to witness a dazzling assortment of exotic marine life. Some of the brilliantly-colored tropical fish that can be found in this area of the Caribbean include angelfish, porkfish, splendid toadfish, grunts, blue tangs, sergeant majors, and more.
