Aventuras 33 Bertram Overview

Your angling adventure in the western Caribbean Sea awaits you aboard our thirty-three-foot Bertram sport fisher, the Aventuras. Captain Hector Fuentes, affectionately known as Chico, will guide your party of up to eight anglers on a fun-filled day on the teeming waters off the Yucatan.

This charter departs from the docks in Cancun, but we can arrange for transportation from Cancuns Hotel Zone, Moon Palace, Puerto Morales, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, and Riviera Maya for an additional fee. Cancun is only a short jaunt from the continental shelf and some of the finest fishing grounds on the globe.

Depending on the season you will have an opportunity to hook a trophy billfish, like a White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Atlantic Sailfish. Other deepwater species that are in peak season during the spring and summer includes Dorado (Mahi Mahi), and Blackfin Tuna. In the fall and early winter, Tuna, Kingfish, Snapper, Bonito, Wahoo, Grouper, Jacks, Amberjacks, Sharks, Rainbow Runners and Triggerfish are active. In the wintertime, Sailfish are really active as well as King Mackerel, Amberjack, and Barracuda. No matter what the species, weather conditions, or time of year, Captain Chico will guide you to the waters that will allow your fishing party to enjoy the most success. Chico, who is fluent in English, truly enjoys tutoring anglers on the most effective techniques on landing that trophy catch. The Aventuras is equipped with dual two hundred and seventy-five horsepower Caterpillar diesel motors, an air-conditioned cabin, restroom, fly-bridge, down riggers, outriggers, two fish-fighting chairs, and the finest tourney-tested fishing gear and tackle.
