La Ciudad

The downtown area of Cancun is home to a plentiful amount of the typical services that you would be used to in a big city. You'll find shops, marketplaces, banks, currency exchange businesses, movie theaters, grocery stores, shopping centers, and the usual urban cultural activities and services. Hotel prices in El Centro are less costly than along the coast.This area is mainly frequented by local residents and is the heart of their everyday lives. The Downtown area is located inland away from the Caribbean coast. You can see an authentic part of Mexican culture if you visit the Plaza de Toros, where bullfights are held every Wednesday. On the days of bullfights, you can see a wondrous display of traditional ceremony in the form of costumed dancers, horse riding acrobatics, and roping tricks.

Hotel Zone

The Hotel Zone is the main tourism area of Cancun, stretching fourteen miles along the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. If you are staying in this area, you will be on a thin sliver of a barrier island that divides the Caribbean from the Nichupte Lagoon. There are more than ninety excellent hotels located in this area. For your convenience there are also five large retail centers, plentiful bars, clubs, and restaurants, an aquatic park, and aquatic activities facility, and even a Mayan ruin site. The vendors and hoteliers in this zone take pride in providing exemplary service for all vacationers. This area was specifically designed as planned community catering to tourists forty years ago.

Aqua World

This easy to find aquatic activity center is easy to find on Kulkulcan Blvd, the main strip in the Hotel Zone. Aqua World is the location where you can enjoy many of the water sport activities that we offer on this website. The Aqua World complex is conveniently located close to most Cancun accommodations.
