Playa Uva Two Tank Beach Scuba Dive Overview

From the lovely beach at Playa Uvas, you will be led by our certified dive masters on a shallow water dive in the amazing maritime sanctuary of Chankanaab. You can dive to depths of fifteen feet in this bustling underwater environment. In this vibrant shallow-water habitat, you will see a number of coral species, crustaceans such as large crabs and lobsters, and a beautiful assortment of tropical fish. You will see lovely blue tangs as they dart about the reef. Sergeant majors, with their distinctive vertical striping, can also be spotted swimming through the transparent waters. Blue tangs and sergeant majors are only two examples of the sixty different fish species that you will see on this scuba tour. The waters on the leeward side of Cozumel, where Chankanaab and Playa Uvas are located, are protected from rough wind and weather from the Caribbean by the island. As a result, the visibility in the water to the west of the island (where you will be diving) is excellent.

You will be supervised by our PADI-endorsed dive masters on this scuba diving tour. These English-fluent dive guides will always be nearby to ensure you enjoy a safe and enjoyable underwater adventure while exploring the teeming coral garden of Chankanaab. They will guide you to the most interesting and active locales on the reef. This tour includes two scuba tanks, weights, and belts. If you have not brought your own, you have the option of renting the rest of the equipment for an additional fee. Entrance fees to both Playa Uvas and the marine reserve are included in the price of this tour.
