You and up to seven of your friends/family members/business associates can enjoy a fun-filled excursion on the bountiful waters of this coastal paradise aboard the Reel Stripper. Our 31-foot Bertram charter vessel will transport you quickly and comfortably into the fabulous Caribbean waters for some world-class off shore fishing. Our savvy skipper, possessing more than a decade guiding successful fishing charters and big-money tourneys, has the know-how and experience to lead you to the most active fishing spots for that day.

Whether you are looking to do some deep-water trolling for prized pelagics, some bottom fishing near reefs, rock piles or wrecks, or some light tackle casting, our captain can accommodate you. This is your private charter, so you can combine different styles of fishing or stick to one type of fishing - it's up to you because it is your vacation. You can even mix in some coral reef snorkeling if you like.

Temperate waters flow northward along the coastline from the equator with the Gulf Stream, bringing an array of excellent game fish with them. What kind of species can you hook in the lovely waters off the Yucatan coast? You can hook white marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo, swordfish, barracuda, as well as varieties of tuna, snapper, jacks, and grouper. The big prize is the enormous blue marlin. This humongous billfish migrates through this region, hunting feeder fish in the deeper channels from March through September. Blue Marlin can grow to over fourteen feet in length and up to eighteen hundred pounds in weight. The females represent the larger specimens of the species. Although the biggest blue marlin caught was close to a ton, the majority of these billfish average around 300 pounds.
