Our slip in the marina of Puerto Aventuras is ideally located near some of the best fishing waters in the Caribbean Sea. Aboard the thirty-six-foot Sea Phantom, it will be a surprisingly short trip from the docks to the deep temperate channel that flows northward from the equator between the Yucatan mainland and the lovely Isle of Cozumel.

The Gulf Stream current draws a massive migration of pelagic fish every spring and summer. Species like sailfish, blue marlin, white marlin, blue-fin tuna, big-eye tuna, yellowtails, and dorado migrate through these waters seasonally, providing a great opportunity for avid anglers to hook a prized catch.

Whether you are staying in Riviera Maya, Playa Del Carmen, Cancun, or Cozumel, you can join our savvy charter skipper for an unforgettable saltwater adventure that will be the highlight of your Mexican vacation. This bilingual fishing guide has been providing excellent service and successful charters and tournaments for over a decade. You and your private group of up to eight anglers will appreciate the personalized attention and amenities that you will have access to on this excursion.

Although the spring and summertime is the prime time to fish for billfish and dorado, wahoo peak during the rest of the year. During the fall and early winter, these long lithe fish are the most active off the Yucatan Peninsula. These feisty predators can reach lengths of six feet and weights of close to one hundred and fifty pounds. Wahoo (known as "ono" in the Hawaiian Islands) are valued by anglers because of their reputation as fighters as well as their tasty flavor.
