Stingray Beach Discover Scuba Diving Overview

You will enjoy interacting with the gentle denizens of stingray beach on an encounter. In addition to this encounter, this tour actually gives uncertified divers a chance to learn to scuba dive and swim underwater with these graceful stingrays while participating in our Discover Scuba course.

You will begin this fascinating tour by learning about scuba diving during a brief classroom orientation. Then, under the supervision of our professional English-fluent diving instructors, you will head into the water to actually scuba dive in waters up to eighteen feet deep. You will be delighted at the sight of over 30 stingrays swimming through the crystalline waters.

You will also enjoy a fantastic underwater perspective of thousands of brightly-colored tropical fish. This is a great way for novices to try scuba diving in a safe and controlled environment while being supervised by professionals.

After participating in this tour, you may decide to further your diving education by becoming certified. This may be the beginning of a lifelong pastime. We supply you with all the necessary scuba gear on this tour.

You will then head to the shore to remove your diving equipment before wading back into the water for a stingray encounter in shallow water. These gentle animals will feed right from your palm while you pet their silky-smooth wings. You can even pose for a photograph while holding one of these docile sea creatures. All of the stingrays at our facility have had their barbs clipped to protect our patrons. We make sure that we keep groups small to maximize participants’ interaction with the stingrays and to ensure patrons' safety.
