Stingray Beach Everybody Loves Rays Overview

This exciting two-stage activity not only allows you to interact with stingrays in our large coastal enclosure, you will also enjoy some snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters beside some of these graceful creatures as well as an array of brightly-hued tropical fish.

You will begin this tour with a brief and informative orientation to learn about our fascinating resident stingrays. We will instruct participants on how to feed and touch these graceful creatures. You will then enter the shallow water enclosure. This one acre enclosure contains our resident rays, who continue to breed and give birth to offspring in this environment. As you feed these curious creatures from the palm of your hand, you can stroke the smooth surface of their graceful wings. These gentle creatures will even allow you to hold them while you have your picture taken.

After your encounter in one-foot to four-foot water, you will head into deeper water for some snorkeling alongside these graceful creatures. You will not only be able to witness these splendid rays gliding through waters nine to 18 feet deep, but also a brightly-colored collection of tropical fish. After snorkeling, you will have access to our beach facilities to shower, change clothes and relax at the seaside.

Safety is our top priority on this tour. Our resident stingrays in our enclosure have trimmed barbs to protect participants. Every tour maintains a limited amount of participants in order to ensure that everyone is well-supervised by our professional nature guides. We will provide snorkeling equipment, including masks, snorkels, fins, water booties and life vests.
