X-treme Horseback Riding Overview

Hit the scenic trails of the Yucatan back country on this fantastic horseback riding adventure. There isn’t a better method of doing some eco-touring in the jungle than in the saddle of one of our fine horses.

You will begin this tour at our stables where you will become familiarized with your ride. Our experienced trail hands will assist you in selecting your horse. We will help you choose a ride that matches your riding style preferences as well as your ability. If you have never ridden a horse before, that is no problem. Our patient bilingual instructors will have you riding in no time.

After your brief orientation, you will be ready trot into the beautiful wilds of the Yucatan. If you are interested in wildlife, the lovely flora and fauna of this region will delight you. You will see a colorful spectrum of lovely song birds. The coastal wilderness of this area hosts scores of indigenous birds as well as plenty of migratory species. You may also see indigenous animals, including lounging iguanas and delicate butterflies.

Our horses are so well-trained that you can even go for an exciting river swim with these intelligent creatures. You and your horse will appreciate swimming in the cool waters of the river. You both will feel refreshed, clean and cooled off after riding along the dusty trails. There aren’t many ranches that have horses that regularly perform such an exciting feat with a rider.
