Cenotes are rare geological marvels that can only be found on the Yucatan Peninsula. The Yucatan is home to an extensive network of underground rivers and flooded caverns. Cenotes appear in the forest as freshwater pools on the surface, but can actually be deep flooded caves with multiple layers of clarity. Diving into these refreshing pools is truly an amazing experience. These beautiful lagoons also offer hikers an oasis to cool of and relax after trekking through the beautiful wilderness. The lush green plant life in this vibrant jungle surrounding the cenotes will provide the idyllic natural backdrop for a swim or a pleasant picnic. The underground rivers also carve out incredible subterranean caverns where vacationers can raft, swim, or snorkel. These breathtaking caves are filled with stunning limestone structures, including stalagmites and stalactites.

Cenotes were once sites of ceremonial importance to the ancient Mayan Empire that once controlled the Yucatan.

We offer different types of cenote tours. Participants have tour options to go swimming, snorkeling, snuba diving, and scuba diving. These tours are also often combined with other adventure tours such as ATV or Hummer off-roading.
